What we collect

When you subscribe, we collect your email address (and a name, if you choose to give one). Our email delivery provider records standard delivery data — whether an email was delivered, opened, or a link clicked — which we use only to understand what our readers find useful.

How we use it

To deliver the newsletter you signed up for, and nothing else. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.

Who processes it

This site runs on self-hosted Ghost on infrastructure we operate. Email is delivered through Sinch Mailgun, acting as our processor.

Your choices

Subscription is double opt-in: you confirm your address before receiving anything. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. To have your data deleted entirely, use the unsubscribe link or contact us at the address below and we will remove it promptly. Readers in the EEA and UK may also exercise their rights of access, rectification, portability and erasure under the GDPR by writing to the same address.
